On the 28 November 2024 with an international audience at Boat & Fun Berlin, the best boats of 2024 will be awarded in the categories Best for Beginners, Best for Family, Best for Fun, Best for Performance and Best Electric, plus the new category Best Big Boats.

In the new category Best for Performance, particularly luxurious sporty boats are awarded. These boats were formerly found in the Best for Fun category.

For the second time, Best for Electric is a separate category for purely electrically and hybrid powered boats.

In the new category Best Big Boats, particularly luxurious motoryachts are awarded. These boats were formerly found in the Best for Travel category.
