Winners 2022 announced – 24 November 2022

On the 24 November 2022 the presentation ceremony of the Best of Boats Award took place in front of an international audience at Boat & Fun Berlin. Boats were awarded in the four categories Best for Beginners for Ryck 280 (Germany), Best for Travel for Leopard 46 (South Africa), Best for Fun for Rand Source 22 (Denmark) and Best for Family for Bavaria SR 36 (Germany). Finalists 2022 announced – 22 September 202

After an intensive season with hundreds of boat tests, the 18 finalists of the Best of Boats Award 2022 have now been chosen. The 16-member expert jury, consisting of editors-in-chief and motorboat test directors from all over Europe and the USA, thoroughly tested the most interesting international motorboat innovations. These best powerboats of the 2022 model year prevailed after numerous test runs over the past twelve months. find out more | press release

Best of Boats Award jury grows – 30 August 2022

France is one of the largest producers of recreational boats and is represented by a woman for the first time this year. New to the jury of the Best of Boats Awards is Chloé Torterat, department head for powerboats of the French online magazine bateaux.com.
Switzerland – with the world’s second highest per capita rate of private yacht owners – is represented by Quentin Mayerat, editor-in-chief of the Geneva-based magazine Skippers, which is published bilingually in German and French.
